Our Mission Friends of the BVRP is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to raise funds and awareness for all future outdoor recreation projects improvements and maintenance involving or benefiting the Buena Vista Whitewater Park. River Park The BV Whitewater Park is located in downtown Buena Vista where the Arkansas River flows through town. Our park contains five manmade play features which allow a variety of user groups to easily access and enjoy the river. Protecting the Future As a diverse group of river users with a common goal we strive to ensure that outdoor recreation in the river park is both encouraged and sustainable with a commitment to ongoing improvement for years to come.
