BARKUS CONDUCTS ACTIVITIES TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND MAKES GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT PREVENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, SEARCH AND RESCUE ANIMALS STRANDED IN NATURAL DISASTERS, PROMOTE AND PERFORM SPEYING AND NEUTERING OF ANIMALS, ASSIST IN ADOPTION OF ANIMALS, PROVIDE SHELTER FOR ANIMALS.
