An Incredible Weekend on Norris Lake! On Saturday, March 22nd, and Sunday, March 23rd, we set out on a mission—one that brought together 80 incredible volunteers, both old friends and new faces, for a cause that truly matters. Under blue skies and surrounded by the beauty of Norris Lake, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Together, we removed a staggering 38,340 pounds of garbage from the lake’s shorelines! That’s nearly 20 tons of waste, along with over 20 discarded tires and rims. Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of our volunteers, we made a real impact. Launching from Anderson County Park, Beach Island Marina, Blue Springs Marina, Flat Hollow Marina, and Hickory Star Marina, our efforts wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of our partners—who we are proud to recognize below.
