We’ve created the Richard C. King Foundation (RCK) to provide a platform for people to get evidence based information together with processes that empower them to implement the changes needed to transform their health. The goal of the MWA, is to aid in bringing health education, fitness, and overall self-empowerment strategies to populations that reportedly are not a part of the growing trend of fitness, i.e., individuals not close to wellness facilities, and especially low-income populations. With the highest incidents of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and other excessive, weight-related illnesses, low-income populations and minorities are the hardest hit. RCK will take an action approach to help build stronger communities through health and wellness initiatives, by collaborating.
