Kitsap County Amateur Radio Club Serving the radio hobbyist community of the Kitsap Peninsula and beyond Organization Description The Kitsap County Amateur Radio Club KCARC is an amateur radio public service organization and an American Radio Relay League ARRL Special Services club. We are recognized by the IRS as a Charitable Organization holding a 501c3 tax exempt status. The KCARC was founded in 1982 as the North Kitsap Amateur Radio Club with about 10 members. Since then the club has grown to over 100 members spanning the entire county and has been renamed to capture the true scope of our membership.
