Northern Kittitas County Historical Society NKCHS Preserving and sharing our area039s rich history About The Northern Kittitas County Historical Society NKCHS is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose mission is to further the preservation and dissemination of Northern Kittitas County history by such means deemed appropriate by its Board of Directors including cooperation with other societies and organizations with like interests and goals. Founded in 1966 NKCHS is dedicated to increasing awareness of local history and its future impact on our community. Our properties include the Carpenter House Museum and the Telephone Museum. The NKC Historical Society meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 100pm on Zoom or at the Carpenter Museum.
