Addressing critical issues in bioethics, law, and religious liberty from a Christian perspective Liberty Institute for Faith & Ethics (L.I.F.E.) is dedicated to critical cultural, legal, and bioethical issues. It embraces the ethos of love and liberty at the heart of revelation and natural law. Through its various projects and initiatives, it educates about and explores issues related to religious liberty, freedom of conscience, medical and research ethics, the technological revolution, the nature of the human person, the structure of society and family, the relationship of individuals and groups to one another and to the structures of local, national and international governing entities, and cultural expressions of those topics. Its principal organs are the St. John Paul II Bioethics Center, the Religious Liberty Observatory, and the Center for the Study of Bioethics & Law.
