Published authors on three… 1, 2, 3! 📚🎉 Fourth grade students at Wicklund Elementary (Lammersville Unified School District) have officially published a book — and San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Troy Brown was there to help them celebrate this big accomplishment! Dr. Brown, along with SJCOE staff and Lammersville Unified administrators, visited Ms. Vang and Ms. Panero’s fourth grade classrooms to see how students are taking ownership of their learning by co-constructing writing rubrics to strengthen their skills. With support from their teachers, students wrote informative essays on cave formations, gave thoughtful peer feedback, and used proper terminology — showing just how empowered they’ve become as writers! 📝 (fb)
