Sweet mama Lucy has done a fantastic job raising her little baby beans. The time has come for them to part ways as mom is on the short list for her spay, stat! 17, 18, 19 ounces! Perfect babes headed to one of our most fantastic foster homes tomorrow, so long as the empty eye doesn't freak out foster daddy! 🤞 At just over a pound, these cutie pies were born to a feral mom outside and were quickly scooped up thanks to trapper, M! With just a pinch of TLC, eye wash and ointment to break through dirt, debris, dried up discharge, we have a potential eye enucleation and/or potential corrective surgery in the future. These kittens come from a zip code where we have discovered countless genetic hodge podge eyeball cats and kittens. We will continue to keep trappin' so kittens don't happen. Unfortunately, we will also have to subsequently assist little ones so they don't grow into a life of suffering. 💔 Preventing kittens like these being surrendered to a stressed out shelter system is what we aim to do.
