Global Semiconducotr Alliance
GSA is #WhereLeadersMeet to establish a profitable and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem. GSA has established its Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), seeking to significantly increase the number of women entering the semiconductor market and celebrating women in the industry. The GSA is a business league which was formed to stimulate the development of leading edge technology and foundry capacity for the fabless semiconductor industry, i.e., companies engaged in the design and fabrication of semiconductors and semiconductor devices such as transistors and integrated circuits. Its goal is to promote global collaboration within the semiconductor ecosystem to create a more robust, efficient, reliable, and profitable semiconductor industry. It is the leading business league for the semiconductor industry, representing over 25 countries and has over 250 corporate members, including 100 public companies. Persons currently serving on its Board of Directors include representatives of AMD, Applied Materials, Intel, Meta, Microsoft, Qualcomm and Samsung.The GSA engages in four principal activities: 1. Thought Leadership 30%2. Curated Events 30%3. Women's Leadership 30%4. Research, Marketing,Industry, and Financial Information 10%

To increase public awareness about the significance of the semiconductor industry, the GSA launched the Semis Matter initiative. This effort highlights the industry's substantial economic impact, contributing over $7 trillion to the global economy and underscoring its essential role in technological advancements.

The GSA collaborates with industry leaders and analysts to produce insightful reports, such as the Global Semiconductor Industry Outlook. These reports provide strategic insights into industry trends, challenges, and future projections, helping executives navigate the complex semiconductor landscape.
