Red Rocks Chapter NSDAR Littleton Colorado Work of the NSDAR Education Patriotism Historic Preservation Service About the NSDAR With almost 130 years of tradition over 1000000 members admitted since its founding a vast array of service work and countless activities taking place locally nationally and globally there is much to learn about the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution NSDAR or DAR. Founded in 1890 with the simple mission of promoting historic preservation education and patriotism the DAR remains strong and vitally relevant in this everchanging world. This nonprofit nonpolitical volunteer womens service organization consists of nearly 185000 members in 3000 chapters in all 50 states the District of Columbia and several foreign countries. These vibrant active women are the heart of our organization.
