Engineering Information Foundation Improving worldwide engineering education and practice through enhanced communication skills and the recruitment of women We fund projects in two distinct areas programs that 1 enhance communication in engineering 2 recruit and retain women in engineering with a focus on programs that a encourage middle school girls to go into engineering and b improve the retention rate of undergraduate women in engineering. Engineering Information Foundation makes grants to qualified notforprofit organizations. Our grant activity supports developmental projects instructional projects and training programs in engineering education and research that fit our fields of interest. Program Area 1 Enhancing Communication Skills in Engineering Current accreditation standards require undergraduate degree programs in engineering to show that students have mastered an ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
