One woman’s mission to make other women feel powerful and confident when they walk into a room!! 👏 Say hello to one of fashion’s icons in the working world of high-profile women: Nina McLemore. I first met her in San Francisco, when I was a news anchor for ABC 7 TV. One of my guests was wearing a fantastic jacket in bright lime with a stand-up collar. She looked great in it! I asked her if she would mind telling me where she bought the jacket. She told me and I made an appointment right away to meet Nina at her shop on Grant Avenue. Nina was in San Francisco visiting her store, but she’s based in New York. I’ve been hooked on Nina’s sense of style and color for years now. The jackets are designed to hide a multitude of flaws, and yet look stylish at the same time. I always look for the sales because the jackets can be pricey. But they last for years. When I see someone wearing her jacket, I ask: is that a “Nina?” 😊 Nina brought a big clothes display to the 50th anniversary conference of the International Women’s Forum in New York City. She's also an IWF member. I brought my little “CherylCamMedia” portable recording kit, and we did a brief interview while she was working with customers!! She’s non-stop!! Saving our vision! So honored to share this video of a "visionary" event to raise awareness about "dry eye disease." 👀 It's a serious problem that affects more people than we can imagine, especially those of us who are on our mobile devices or computers for hours at a time. 💻 Dr. Lillie Mosaddegh, eye surgeon, researcher, inventor, and an incredibly compassionate human being, created this academy to share information from professionals and patients, like myself, who are suffering with dry eye disease. 👏 Dr. M also demonstrated the latest technology designed to help mitigate the symptoms of dry eye disease. Very simply put: the Meibomian glands next to our eyelashes in our eyes are affected and can't produce enough natural oil needed to lubricate the surface of the eye. It's called MGD: Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. Result: dry scratchy eyes that affect our daily living and eye health. It gets much worse when not treated. 💧 Once I learned about why my eyes hurt after long days at the computer, I took action and followed Dr. Mosaddegh's protocol. Amazing results. However, it is constant maintenance. I want to save my vision so I'm willing to do the work. I hope you can take a few minutes to watch video from the day long seminar.
