SCLARC's Mission and ValuesOur mission is to provide assessment, diagnosis, intake, information and referrals, advocacy, prevention services and lifelong case management support to individuals with special needs and those who are at risk for a developmental disability.The foundation of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center (SCLARC) is built upon ethics, integrity and passionate affirmation of the abilities of all whom we serve. SCLARC is a diverse organization that respects every person's right to develop to their greatest potential and recognizes their unique differences. We work in partnership with our community stakeholders in order to actualize our highest priority--the provision of quality services. Our goal is to advocate for and facilitate the movement of our consumers and their families towards more integrated, independent, productive and healthy lives.SCLARC's service area includes Paramount, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, South Gate, Compton and Carson, and the Los Angeles communities of Watts, the Crenshaw District, Hyde Park, Leimert Park, View Park and Baldwin Hills.
