Lola (FKA Adzuki) came to Seattle Humane with her mom and five littermates in early December when they were just under two weeks old. They’d been born in an RV where they were roommates with more than 30 other felines. We hooked them all up with a loving foster parent, who could help their mom take care of these little loves. After nearly two months getting bigger and more self-sufficient, Lola and her siblings came back to Seattle Humane to find new families. “When I went to Seattle Humane, Lola was the last kitten left and was getting spayed,” her mom says. “All I was able to see was her cute little picture and, before I even met her, I knew she was the one for me.” Lola’s mom said she was initially apprehensive about adopting a kitten due to having a tiny apartment and a growing Boston terrier, Fiona, but making space for another fur baby turned out to be an amazing decision. “Lola is my sweet angel and my new best friend. Adopting Lola has been one of the greatest things I've ever done- she makes my little studio home,” she says. “Now, her and Fiona are the best of friends, and she means the world to me.
