The Howard Slater Navigation Center will help break the cycle of homelessness in our community by providing services to an estimated 90% of Butte County's unhoused population. Our fundraising voyage is well underway, but we need your help to reach safe harbor and raise the additional $462,000 needed to fully fund construction by July 1st! This includes the launch of homelessness prevention and expanded rapid rehousing support that provide direct financial assistance for things such as back-owed utilities bills, security deposits, childcare costs, and transportation assistance. This cost-effective solution will reduce duplication of services, prevent homelessness, and move people off the streets and into secure housing faster.
