For years North Dakotas legendary Maah Daah Hey Trail was disappearing due to neglect and a lack of resources. In 2012 Nick and Lindsey Ybarra decided that best way to keep the trail alive was to host a race which they called the Maah Daah Hey 100 and put in the hard work necessary to get the trail into pristine condition. Since 2013 Nick Lindsey and hundreds of incredible SAVEtheMDH volunteers have partnered with the USFS and spent over 8000 volunteer manhours transforming the trail into a worldclass destination.
