Creative Flagstaff is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Comnick as Executive Director, following her successful tenure as Interim Executive Director.⁠ ⁠ An accomplished visual artist, educator, curator, and arts administrator, Julie brings over two decades of experience to the role and becomes the first Executive Director in the organization’s history to hold a Master of Fine Arts degree. Her steady leadership over the past year has guided Creative Flagstaff through a time of significant growth and transition, including major programs such as the Viola Awards, ARTx, and CUMULUS: The Art of Meteorology, as well as key organizational developments and historic fundraising milestones.⁠ ⁠ We are excited to enter this new chapter under her continued leadership.
