Home | California County Planning Commissioners' Association Join our 93rd General Conference in San Luis Obispo Downtown SLO Photo by hakkun The 93rd General Conference at the Royal Oak Hotel San Luis Obispo CA October 45 2024 The 93rd General Conference of the California County Planning Commissioners Association will mark our first return to the Central Coast region since the 80th General Conference in 2010 which was held in Monterey Countys community of Seaside. The lineup of presenters at the Friday speaker sessions will include Melanie McCavour Mike Washam Ryan Campbell John Salkowski Jaron Brandon Tim Byrd and David Schmidt. Saturdays field trip will be highlighted by a visit to the Morro Bay Water Reclamation Center as well as a presentation of the Peoples Self Help Housing program. Well also stop at other points of local interest including the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History and the Visitor Center in San Simeon near Hearst Castle.
