Care For Kids, Inc. “Helping Families Work Since 1979” Mission Statement Care for Kids, Inc. has served the city of McMinnville and its surrounding communities for over 40 years. We strive to provide a safe environment and stimulating activities that promote healthy growth and development in young children. We strongly believe that quality childcare, and an early childhood education are vital to a child’s development as a whole. Care for Kids takes pride in our commitment to quality, and we are honored to help shape the lives and minds of the young children in our care. Purpose Our child care center is intended to provide consistent and stable care of children away from their homes to enable individuals to be gainfully employed. Care For Kids, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation. No net earnings of the corporation inure to the benefit of any individual. Philosophy & Goals Our program philosophy is that children are unique individuals, active learners and develop at their own pace. As teachers we are facilitators, our goal is to provide an environment that is safe, stimulating and naturally encourages children to explore and participate in their own learning. To be successful, the program must provide activities that are developmentally appropriate and inclusive to all children. We aim to provide the highest level of care and education for your child in a warm, nurturing and safe environment. Most importantly, we also believe that families and teachers are partners. Eligibility of Care No child shall be discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, religion, national origin, need for special care, or marital status of parents. Care For Kids may not be able to care for a child with a need for special care due to a lack of related skills and degree of competence, or because of structural barriers in the facility.
