The organization fosters collaboration and camaraderie among the physicians across the state. The requirements for full membership include board certification in either plastic surgery orthopedic surgery or general surgery obtaining the subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand formerly called the Hand CAQ unrestricted license to practice medicine within the state of North Carolina and 2 letters of recommendation from boardcertified surgeons.
