THE TARA APPROACH for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma is a unique fusion of Western neuroscience and Eastern energy medicine created by Dr. Stephanie Mines. THE TARA APPROACH for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma is a unique fusion of Western neuroscience and Eastern energy medicine. . The Dom Project is the sponsoring organization for the TARA Approach for the Resolution of Shock and Trauma, a comprehensive treatment system that resolves the effects of shock, trauma and abuse. The organization's work pivots around the AIDS/HIV population, and other communities in need. Training is provided for healthcare practitioners, therapists, PWA's, survivors of domestic violence and abuse, sexual abuse survivors, and care providers for children healing from injury and illness. In addition, the organization has provided bi-lingual training for domestic violence survivors and therapists in Mexico through a link with the Mexican organization, Comaletzin, as well as Boulder County Safehouse.
