Building a communityof readers in nwa NWA Book Fest is a 501c3 nonprofit that exists to SUPPORT the growing literary community in Northwest ARKANSAS THRough celebration and GENTLEREADING PRACTICES. BOOK FEST Book Fest is a free public festival that happens annually each spring. The event centers around a fullday schedule of bookish programming such as author readings book signings and childrens storytimes as well as a street market full of local bookrelated businesses. In 2023 NWA Book Fest welcomed 1500 individuals from throughout the region supported 40 local businesses and featured 25 local authors.
