REMINDER: Sharing Table Potluck is next week! TUTORS: Please share this with your students and help them register if they want to attend. Thank you! We are getting very excited about our "Sharing Table" potluck on June 4th at the Little Rock office, and believe it will be a great success if we work together. Yes, it's a potluck, but it is also a unique opportunity to share our personal passions and culture. Please think of something you or your students might like to share; A poem, a song, an art object, a story, a special food. The sky is the limit, but please limit offerings to approximately 3 minutes each. To give you some examples: One student will share a painting of her mother that she is creating, a student who has a small business creating and selling herbs will share, a famous Persian poem will be recited, and an Arabic chant. Sharing is an option and doesn't have to be personal creations. It can just be a sharing of something you enjoy. Family friendly event-bring the kids for free books!
