The UNA-USA was founded in 1947 to promote stronger U.S. involvement in the United Nations. Our chapter is the second oldest in the US. The United Nations Association of Santa Barbara is the oldest in the US, chartered in 1947. We are a diverse group that explores larger UN issues locally.
