Grace has a long & generous tradition of in-reach & outreach, especially serving the poor & supporting the arts. Member, Episcopal Diocese of Upper SC. We are a small parish overlooking the beautiful Ohio river. Grace Episcopal Church has operated continuously at the same location since 1851. We are a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina. We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We have a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; women and men serve as bishops, priests, deacons and lay leaders in our church regardless of sexual identity or orientation. All are welcome. The parish actively supports through volunteers and monetary donations the Anderson Emergency Soup Kitchen, Anderson Interfaith Ministries, Meals on Wheels, and rehousing of at-risk-of-homelessness families through our two adjacent Grace-owned and Family Promise-managed Sunshine Houses.
