TIWLT is a Canadian non profit Land Trust within the Frontenac Arch Biosphere in Eastern Ontario THE TIWLT ACQUIRES LAND THROUGH PURCHASE OR DONATION. IT MANAGES AND MONITORS THE LAND FOR BENEFIT OF PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS. THE TIWLT ALSO PROVIDES ADVICE, EDUCATION AND SERVICES TO LANDOWNERS, TEACHES PEOPLE ABOUT BIODIVERSITY AND SUSTAINABILITY AND CONDUCTS RESEARCH INTO BEST PRACTICES.

Come out to the Glen Elbe Learning Centre at 870 County Rd. 42 in Athens, Ontario on Saturday, September 27 from 11am to 3pm, for TIWLT’s Old Time Country Festival. We’ll have fiddle music, a blacksmith, representatives from many local organizations within the Frontenac Arch, old-fashioned textile artists, and horses from the Leeds County Draft Horse Club.
