Hillsboro Supportive Housing Inc
Our dream is that one day, every person with a severe disability will have access to affordable, barrier-free living Serving people living with physical disabilities in the Portland-Metro area since 1975. Quadriplegics United Against Dependency Inc. is dedicated to advancing the rights and independence of severely physically disabled adults and provides affordable, barrier-free housing and resident-directed shared attendant care for low income, severely physically disabled adults. Different than a nursing center, QUAD Inc. offers personal choice and encourages self reliance and self sufficiency for those who rely on a wheelchair for mobility. Five buildings throughout metro Portland serve 125 residents. For most, these apartment facilities offer the first opportunity to live in their own homes, make lifestyle choices for themselves in their daily routines, work or volunteer in the community and pursue education.
