BHSSBC | Behavioral Health Services of Somerset and Bedford Counties, Inc. (BHSSBC) HealthChoices is the Pennsylvania Medicaid Medical Assistance plan that covers more uninsured Pennsylvanians than ever before. The HealthChoices program is administered by the Department of Human Services DHS. In 2006 Bedford and Somerset Counties formed a 501c3 corporation called Behavioral Health Services of Somerset and Bedford Counties Inc. BHSSBC which has the responsibility of overseeing the local substance use and behavioral health services funded through the Pennsylvania HealthChoices program.
