THE PURPOSE OF THE EVENT IS ALSO TO ENGAGE THE COMUNITY IN THE RUNNING AND TRIATHLON EVENTS AND TO SUPPOERT LOCAL CHARITIES AND THE MAKING OF DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS INDER SECTION 501(C)(3)OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
