Ever wonder where “Vokes” comes from. 🎭 Beatrice Herford named our theatre in honor of her dear friend Rosina Vokes (photo below), a celebrated member of the Vokes Family Theatre—a renowned troupe of English actors who performed from the 1870s to 1917. The Vokes family began as a true family act, touring the English-speaking world with their witty and charming comedic plays.
