It's Foster Friday! It's the day we celebrate a very special canine friend who is being spoiled by one of our amazing foster homes. Geno is a 2 year old Dachshund / mixed breed pup who joined us recently and is now looking for his forever home. He's a playful guy who loves people, stuffed toys and tug-of-war. He is a very active and affectionate boy who knows basic commands, and is working with our volunteers on perfecting his leash manners. He has excellent riding in the car manners, and he's house trained. He is a fun, energetic guy, who is very gentle when accepting a treat. If he goes home with a family with kids in the home or those that visit frequently, he'll do best in a home with kids 8+. He'll need to be in a feline-free home. Geno will be at the Friends for Life Adoption Center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave in Gilbert on Saturday from 10am-4pm. For dogs that are shown to be living at our adoption center, come on down and meet them during regular shelter hours. We OFTEN have dogs onsite that have not been photographed, so the best way to find a new forever friend is to come and see us!!! Click on the individual photos to read more about a dog! You are welcome to submit an inquiry for more information about this dog, but please note that we strongly encourage potential adopters to come and see us in person and speak with an adoption counselor. We do our best to keep the bios updated online, but because each animal is different, things can change periodically.
