Friends of Magnolia Mound Plantation Inc
The Friends of Magnolia mission is to assist in the preservation and interpretation of the historic house and site as a demonstration of early plantation life in south Louisiana, for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations, and to procure and manage the collection. Magnolia Mound believes that in the retelling of its history it is important to also tell the hard stories of our past, remembering the lives of the enslaved whose skills help to build not only our historic buildings, but our state and our country.
