GUIDED BY KIDS
An Omaha area 501 c3 non-profit providing free speech and debate education to 5th-8th grade students and guiding students as they complete a community project. The purpose of Guided by Kids is to provide educational opportunity to upper elementary and middle school students from a geographically and socio-economically diverse population in the Omaha area. We will provide educational training in speech, debate, research, and listening skills to students who currently have little chance to receive that kind of instruction and experience. Additionally, we will give our student members an opportunity to identify a community improvement project and complete work on that project.

We will resume regular Tuesday early evening class sessions beginning with our first class on Tuesday Feb. 18 2025 at First United Methodist Church. We plan to compete at inperson middle school speech and debate competitions in the local area.
