Thriving Initiative
The Thriving Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring resilience in response to violence by promoting holistic community healing initiatives. We offer free alternative support systems that promote holistic healing for those affected by interpersonal and other forms of violence. We create healthy communities by providing access to trauma-informed workshops, public events, and information. We primarily serve survivors of interpersonal violence (sexual assault, stalking, dating/domestic violence) on college campuses. Our workshops focus on offering diverse healing modalities and creating opportunities for survivors and allies to build community without sharing past traumas and instead focusing on a positive way forward.
