Author in A Box Inc

Author In A Box helps to improve mental health and well-being for economically disadvantaged women and children by providing books, writing programs, life skills training, and book publishing services. We believe that writing improves mental health, relieves stress, and unlocks creativity, and becoming a published author increases confidence, credibility, and income. We want to help more women and children struggling in silence because writing allows people to process and understand their experiences, and sharing stories of hope encourages others. Our Board of Directors consists of uniquely skilled professionals who are published authors in business, healthcare, and social work. On average, our board members have 13 years of experience running non-profits.
