🌟 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Angelica Kajiwara 🌟 We’re thrilled to welcome Angelica to Guiding with Grace this summer! Angelica is a writer, researcher, and PhD student in Classical Education with a deep passion for Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy. As a homeschool mom to three elementary-aged children, she spends her days implementing Mason’s principles in her home, particularly through nature study, living books, and cultivating a rich intellectual and spiritual life. Her research focuses on the role of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy in character formation and the integration of faith and learning when we, as parents, strive to raise our children to share and defend their faith, even when it is difficult. Through writing, speaking, and community engagement, she encourages parents and teachers to cultivate an education that nourishes both mind and soul. 🔥 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Connecting with Creation: The Role of Nature Study in Charlotte Mason’s Educational Philosophy Nature study is so much more than time spent out of doors (where Charlotte Mason said we should be)—it is a transformative practice connecting children with the natural world, cultivating their natural curiosity, and deepening their connection with the Author of Creation. In this fireside chat, Angelica will lead an engaging discussion on the role of nature study in Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy. Participants will explore how Mason’s vision of nature study inspires a sense of wonder in both students and educators. This interactive session will include personal reflections, historical insights, and practical strategies for incorporating nature study into daily learning. 🗓️ Meet Angelica and our incredible lineup of speakers July 24–26 at 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲! Registration is open—don’t miss this unforgettable summer gathering on the beautiful 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘀!✨ 👉 https://www.cminst.org/gatherings #GuidingWithGrace #naturestudy #charlottemason (fb)

🌟 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Ana Vargas 🌟 We’re thrilled to welcome Ana to Guiding with Grace this summer! She is a dedicated advocate for a rich and living education for all. Her journey began during her teenage years, serving in children’s ministry, and extended to working in NYC public schools as a high school counselor. Guided by her faith and experience, Ana realized the significant impact home education could have on her children. This recognition led her to transition to homeschooling—a journey filled with life-giving discovery and transformation. A few years later, Ana had the pleasure of encountering Ms. Mason’s philosophy and has since actively shared her principles by leading a book club, co-leading a co-op, incorporating her principles in children’s ministry, and contributing to Life-Giving Motherhood. 🔥 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Answering the Call: Inviting New Students into Your Homeschool In this workshop, Ana will share how she built a grace-filled online classroom that meets families where they are. For the first 45 minutes of the workshop, participants will explore adapting Charlotte Mason principles to online instruction via Zoom (or similar platforms), considerations to help discern next steps, and strategies for setting clear boundaries to safeguard their sanity. In the remaining time, attendees will hear the testimony of a mom whose child Ana homeschooled last year, followed by a Q&A session. When the call comes—if someone asks you to homeschool their child for a class, an entire grade, or anything in between—this workshop will help you assess whether it’s the right move for you and your family in your current season. If it is, this session will provide practical steps and encouragement to homeschool other students with confidence and grace. 🗓️ Meet Ana and our incredible lineup of speakers July 24–26 at 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲! Registration is open—don’t miss this unforgettable summer gathering on the beautiful 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘀!✨ 👉 https://www.cminst.org/gatherings (fb)
