Shade Tree Academy
Our mission is to change the trajectory for children who have experienced significant trauma related to loss of primary attachment figures and adverse childhood experiences. Our mission is accomplished by equipping students with the social and emotional skills to be successful in a trauma-informed, nurturing environment. Academic instructors are supported by on-sight clinicians who work closely with each student at achieving educational goals with an individualized approach. Staff support students with techniques that consider each child’s neurodevelopment and attachment styles. In addition to academic support, at-risk students learn to identify and manage trauma triggers, increase resiliency, and establish lifelong habits to help them realize their personal definitions of success.
