Team Kids' mission is to empower children to change the world. Since 2001, our empirically validated youth leadership programs have been cultivating empathy, self-efficacy, and robust community connections while nurturing a sense of protection and self-worth in the lives of over 250,000 students. At the core of our mission lies the Team Kids Challenge, a comprehensive 5-week program offering collaborative leadership opportunities for K-8 students in schools across California, Arizona, Virginia, and New York. Through partnerships with local public safety officers and our dedicated coaches, students acquire invaluable teamwork, leadership, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement skills.
