CEELI Institute at the Czech National Development Days 🇨🇿 The Czech National Development Days were held on May 22nd and 23rd at the stunning baroque Černín Palace in Prague. They present a unique opportunity for stakeholders involved in foreign development cooperation, transformational cooperation, and humanitarian aid to connect and engage in expert discussions spanning the public, academic, non-profit, and private sectors. This year's event emphasized collaboration with African countries in development efforts, promoting good governance, and building strategic partnerships. 🤝 The event kicked off with a keynote by the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, followed by a high-level policy panel on Partnerships with Africa featuring the EU Special Representative for the Sahel Region Joao Cravinho, Tunisia’s Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia H.E. Mr. Yosra Souiden, director of the OECD Development Center Director Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir, and CEELI’s Director of Programs Marek Svoboda. CEELI’s work in founding and moderating the African Judicial Network—a platform for over 200 judges from 11 Anglophone African nations—illustrates how legal professionals from various countries can share knowledge and address common issues. 🌐 More details about the Network can be found in the comment below.
