Archaeological Legacy Institute
The Archaeology Channel (TAC) was founded to help tell the human story, of which we are all a part, and share this information with the world. The Archaeology Channel is a multimedia website offering streaming video and audio on a variety of topics from the world of cultural heritage! https://linktr.ee/archaeologychannel Through such means as The Archaeology Channel, our streaming media web site (www.archaeologychannel.org), ALI spreads the benefits of archaeology worldwide through multiple media and new technology. We believe archaeology promotes world harmony through improved understanding of the common origins of all humanity. Founded in 1999, ALI addresses problems facing archaeology today, including increasing damage to archaeological sites, the "gray literature" problem (reports with very limited distribution), insufficient collaboration with indigenous peoples, a lack of archaeology in school curricula, a shortage of material written by professionals for the public, distrust of professionals among knowledgeable non-professionals, and inaccurate and incomplete news reports.
