Nijel Murray was inspired to start Klothes 4 Kids after having a foster brother who faced difficulties due to ill-fitting clothing upon joining his family. Seeing the stress on his parents and the embarrassment of his foster brother, Murray wanted to ensure that other children in similar situations did not experience the same challenges.

The mission of Klothes 4 Kids is to provide essential support to foster children, focusing on clothing and other basic necessities. The organization aims to promote dignity, confidence, and empowerment among its beneficiaries.

Project K4K

One of the significant initiatives of Klothes 4 Kids is Project K4K, which involves establishing a comprehensive Impact Building. This facility will serve as a central hub where foster children can receive free, trendy clothing and participate in educational workshops and after-school job training programs. The Impact Building is envisioned to also include a thrift store open to the public, with all proceeds reinvested into programs benefiting foster youth. To make this vision a reality, Klothes 4 Kids is seeking to raise $100,000 for renovation and equipment.
