Loving and supporting families who have lost a family member to substance misuse dusorder Build the Banner of Love is a 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Organization that provides support to families that have lost a loved one to a Substance Use Disorder. We at Build the Banner of Love have committed to the creation of "The Banner of Love" a literal banner displaying the faces of lives lost to addiction related deaths. It is our hope that families will find healing in the knowledge that their loved ones are not forgotten. In addition to the construction of "The Banner" we will lovingly support families through the grief process with peer facilitated support groups for both parents and siblings, public events to increase awareness and support the families left behind. There are many recovery organizations but there is little to no support for the families left to grieve. Let us not forget those left behind. If we love one broken life, they will arise from the ashes of devastation and extend their love to another broken life.
