Founding and Inspiration The collective was founded by Kelly Potts, a professional surfer with over 20 years of coaching experience. Potts' inspiration for the organization came from her personal connection with the ocean and a poem from a young boy in the Grenadines, which emphasized community and mutual care. The name "All Are We Water" reflects a philosophy of interconnectedness and shared responsibility.
