Tulgey Wood Inc
Tulgey Wood encourages and supports friendships, adventures, and artistic expressions between people with and without disabilities. To create an integrated community of friends with and without disabilities to live, play, adventure and create art together. We are a group of mostly adults of varying abilities who treat each other with respect and help each other shine. We gather together for several weeks each summer, year after year, building deep, lasting friendships. No one is paid or pays to attend; we believe that by taking pay out of the equation, we can better celebrate each other as friends and equals, rather than staff and clients. We depend on the support of many donors for our funding. We run on a very lean budget and are very appreciative of all contributions.
