Thanks for all the great feedback and suggestions on this! We just got back from a pretty epic adventure race in Morocco and as usual, it has inspired us to get back in the woods to start exploring, scheming and dreaming up for the next big race location for us. We will be sure to leave out the 10 hour bike a hike and the 8 hour canyon trek/swim/trek/swim, but plan to keep the adventure high, the pack rafting in, the bushwhacking aplenty and the mountain biking all over the place. Ladies! Registration is now open for the Buff Betty on Oct 4th! One awesome weekend of adventuring and racing launching out of the scenic and remote James River State Park in the rolling hills of Virginia. Get your team together and pick your adventure... the original 6 hour or the longer more advanced 10 hour course. We hope to see you there! A note on lodging... The park is remote with minimal to no services within a 30-40 minute drive. At this date most of the lodging in the park is booked out. We have reserved a large group camp for the weekend in the park that can accommodate up to 42 people. It will be first come first serve that weekend if you need a place to stay. Tent camping our car/van camping.
