LA Familia Movements
LA Familia Movements (LFM) is a U.S. nonprofit organization founded in 2013 with a mission to empower disadvantaged communities by addressing issues of indifference, lack of knowledge, and limited opportunities.
Mission and Objectives
LFM's primary goal is to create an environment conducive to the educational needs of residents by collaborating with community resources. The organization aims to positively impact communities by transforming negative mindsets and fostering a brighter future.

🌟 Moesha Buchanan – Secretary & Operations Pillar at La Familia Movements 🌟 #LFM Meet Moesha Buchanan, a beloved and vital member of the La Familia Movements team for over a decade. While her official title is Secretary, Moesha works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every event, outreach, and community effort runs flawlessly. She describes herself as a humble and easygoing person who brings joy and warmth to everything she does. Outside of her work with LFM, Moesha loves to dance, play netball, spend time with friends, and embrace life’s adventures with energy and positivity. Her passion for nonprofit work stems from a deep love for helping others especially children and senior citizens. “It’s such a joy to see them happy,” she shares, and that joy fuels her unwavering commitment to serving the community. A proud graduate of St. James High School, Moesha has become one of the most dependable, compassionate, and essential members of the LFM family. She not only keeps us organized but inspires us daily with her dedication, heart, and leadership. We are endlessly grateful for all that she brings to the movement.
