This is the Way Equine Sanctuary, Inc is a registered NC 501(c)(3) charity. We are a horse rescue in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. This is the Way Equine Sanctuary, Inc is focused on maintaining horse welfare by reducing cruelty and suffering that they might endure. This is the Way Equine Sanctuary, Inc will rescue, provide emergency relief, rehabilitation, life-long care, and adoption of abused, neglected and unwanted horses, all with the objective of providing a sound, caring and safe home for the life of the horse. Our goal is to promote a natural way of communication with horses, where the purpose is mutual respect and a relationship where the horse trusts its human partner and sees us as a fit leader.
