LAE is the largest education association in Louisiana, representing more than 20-thousand teachers and support staff across the state. LAE is a professional advocacy organization for education employees of Louisiana's K-12 public schools. Members are teachers, school counselors, librarians, education support professionals, and other non-supervisory certificated personnel. LAES MISSION IS TO ORGANIZE AND EMPOWER LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS IN ORDER TO PROMOTE QUALITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, STRENGTHEN THE EDUCATION PROFESSION, AND IMPROVE THE WELL BEING OF MEMBERS
