American Friends of Bean Voyage

Bean Voyage creates a sustainable path for smallholder coffee farmers – notably women and youth – to higher profits and greater agency, through training, market access, and distribution support. First, we facilitate a training consisting of a comprehensive curriculum to improve farm productivity and coffee quality, so producers can improve their yield and earning potentials from coffee. Second, we facilitate a direct marketplace between our producers and buyers of coffee through which a fair price is negotiated and paid to producers, ensuring improved income and livelihoods for farmers.
